Default Concept Class: Ergonomics

I'm thinking of a psuedo futuristic race based on technology rather then magic. These can use scrap metals and build an army of mechanical infantry that use projectile weapons and can also combine into bigger and more powerful machines. An elite skill could combine an army of say 10 metal warriors into a giant mecha of sorts which would use the principle of "the whole is greater then the sum of its parts." Now they wouldnt have to look sci fi at all. The art concepts could still follow the fantasy styles (similar to RoL's Vinci).

Another though was the player themselves could combine with other players of the same profession. This would be the player is a mechanical being and two or 8 players of the race could combine into one giant being, each coordinating to control the behemouth through a mission. It could add a whole new aspect to the game in general based on team work.

Story could be based on civilation building machines to help with tasks, but things go wrong and AI takes over, etc...

This was just an idea, feel free to comment and/or expand on it.

Thanks

I appologize for the incomplete data on this class. I wrote this at 3am last night mostly just so I wouldnt forget the idea. I'll come up with a more detailed description of what I was thinking with this concept soon.

This is guild wars. Not Final Fantasy XII. I really don't think the premise itself would make any sense.

No. Just...no. This isn't Power Rangers either.

This reminds me of voltron for some reason.

All I have to say is playing a dragon is more suitable to GW than mechas, if that is too far fetched for you than your obviously stepping past your own bounds.
